A podcast where Christian punks interview a Jewish punk about Jewish punk rock

Just another podcast I discovered while doing research. You can listen to the episode here or on Sporify here.,

This month, Adam, Dan and Jason talk with Michael Croland, author of Oy Oy Oy Gevalt and Punk Rock Hora.

An interview with the writer of a YA book about a fictional Jewish punk rock band

In doing my research, I found this podcast. Listen to it here.

"An interview with Micol Ostow, author of So Punk Rock (And Other Ways to Disappoint Your Mother, a 2010 Sydney Taylor Notable Book in the Teen Readers category. This very cool novel with graphic elements was illustrated by Micol's brother David Ostow. The interview was recorded in a busy Manhattan bar, so please consider the loud background noise to be atmosphere for this story of a teen garage band!"

If you find this book interesting, here's a couple of more books I have discovered, but haven't read, that deal with punk rock and religion.

• "Tales of a Punk Rock Nothing" by Abram Shalom Himelstein and Jamie Schweser
• A NPR piece on it
• The Taqwacores by Micheal Muhammed Knight
